Happy birthday @joshuadun and have a blessed year ♥ When I met you for a few seconds, all I got the chance to say was, “Thank you.” I wish you knew the weight of those words. You’re a beautiful shining person, and your existence brings joy to many.
just so u all know drawing all the time and filling sketchbooks doesnt work for everybody and isnt feasible for everyone so if you dont do one or either of those things, that doesnt make you any less of an artist it took me a while to realize that
drawing all the time could actually have the opposite effect for some people and make art seem more like a chore and get u frustrated and upset so just take a break…i usually draw once every few days, maybe once a week its okay and it doesnt make your art any less serious just because you cant do it all the time
I love that because it’s an unconventional superhero; he’s flawed. There’s so much richness when you’re playing somebody that essentially suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, dementia to some extent, and he’s just that kind of character that gets embedded in conspiracy theories. Approaching it … I’m always learning something new about the character, which is very funny. Like on this movie I actually learnt that he is more of a threat as the Winter Soldier than he is as Bucky Barnes, because as the Winter Soldier there’s no remorse, there’s no emotions and he’s a much better opponent that way. That’s something I didn’t even realise because I was so obsessed with going: OK we have these fight sequences where he’s fighting as the Winter Soldier and we have sequences where he’s fighting as Bucky — so how does he fight that way and how does he fight this way? So it’s tricky, but it’s fun because I don’t know in the future what they’re going to do. I’d like to see him be a little bit more stable, perhaps. But then again, stable characters aren’t as fun.
